Smoky as hell, didn't take credit, ATM was down. Screw it, I don't even know why I thought I would try to watch the Steeler game here. I went to Cougar Bob's, like a should have in the first place.

Quite an interesting time. If you've ever imagined a bar in the middle of Pennsylvania, this is it. The one beer on tap, Miller Lite, was a cold and refreshing start to the night. The bartender (I think her name was Michelle, but I kept saying it like me-shell) looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for a long island, so I went with a rum and coke. After that I talked her through a long island and couldn't understand why it was red when I got it. When I next ordered a gin and tonic, that was also red, another patron realized she was using sloe gin instead of regular gin. She was kind enough to make me another one. My friend ordered a Yuengling and when he tried to sip it, nothing came out - frozen solid. She was kind enough to replace this one as well. At this point in the night we're a little drunk and were lucky enough to catch the bar on karaoke night. The locals and passerbys, all 8 of them in there, didn't seem to mind our profanities, word changes and general crappy singing. After our concert, we decided to get more drinks. I asked the bartender what the most expensive drink was and she told me a shot of Patron for $5.25 (mind you the long island was $5.50.) I wasn't in the mood for tequila so I went with an angry balls, which there were multiple signs for in the bar (angry orchard and fireball) and on par with the whole night that came to $6. I have never had a bar experience quite like this and don't think I would even if I came back, but I will definitely make an effort to visit me-shell and the West Hickory crowd again. Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was perfect to raise a little hell in.
